Go subterranean with Columbus Outdoor Pursuits!
Our volunteers lead cave trips to Kentucky, West Virginia, and various other states where caves exist. Go underground, get “good and dirty”, and explore beautiful and unique worlds under the one we see everyday. An average cave trip lasts approximately 4-6 hours and may involve overnight stays.
If you are new to caving or just interested in finding out more, we offer Beginning Cave School several times a year. Topics covered include safety, trip preparation and planning, equipment, and cave conservation.
Consult the Caving Activity Schedule to see a listing of upcoming trips and classes. Contact the trip leader listed for trip questions or your suitability for a given trip. Make sure to read our articles and peruse our photos to see our members in their latest adventures underground!
