Kayak Roll Lesson

Sunday January 18th  8:30a-10:30a
$8 members, $15 non-members (roll session fee)
$75 for the Kayak Class Fee

IF you are paying by check, you will need TWO (2) checks - one payable to Groveport for the roll session fee, and a check to Columbus Outdoor Pursuits for the class fee.

If you can’t do an Eskimo roll or you’re roll isn't solid, Bill Cacciolfi will offer expert, individualized instruction on January 18 at the Groveport Rec Center in conjunction with the COP pool practice. Usually, you would have to drive to Lebanon, Ohio for this training.  Bill has taught many hundreds of people to roll over many years. If you don't have a lot of bad habits, he'll probably have you rolling in 5 minutes. If you struggle, it could take as long as 15 or 20 minutes.  Many of us can personally endorse his training.

The cost is $75 per person and that includes all gear needed and any follow-up, additional instruction, or fine-tuning you want (in Lebanon, Ohio). In addition, you will need to pay the regular roll session pool fee of $8 for members and $15 for non-members. The lesson will be scheduled from 8:30am to 10:30 am and students can stay for the regularly scheduled roll session. We need at minimum 4 people to sign up for the class.

Contact Nic Sanna or boating@outdoor-pursuits.org if you are interested.

Online registration closes at 11:59pm Saturday, January 17th.
