Eddy Lines By John Lane 0206
It's a half hour 'til deadline for the newsletter and the words are as dry as last summer. Things happen like that. It's kind of like being on the river, miss one eddy, make another. Duck a branch to find out it was lower than you thought! Leave your lunch in your buddies car - share his for the day and he eats yours the next.... We had a couple applications planned for the newsletter for our annual Red, White and Boom! on July 3 and Solo Canoe School June 21-23 but a half hour wasn't enough time to make them. Info on these is in the boating calendar. Other things to look forward to this month are the June 18 COP sea kayak demo and next month's Sea Kayak I class. Rafting the Lower Yough and Lower New is something special to do, jump on those opportunities this month and next before they flow away.
Time out: 2336. See You On The Water
