2004 Whitewater Kayak Schools

Kayak I School This is an introductory class to whitewater paddling. The class will include instruction on whitewater paddling techniques, terminology, and basic safety. Three individual sessions of the Kayak I School will be offered, each a two-day class. All will be held at the Greenhouse Aquatic Center (5520 Cherrywood Rd.).

Cost:   $70 COP members / $85 for non-members

Eskimo Roll School Never tried to roll or are you struggling with your roll? If so, the Eskimo Roll School is for you! Only one class will be held at the Greenhouse Aquatic Center (5520 Cherrywood Rd.), so sign-up early.

Cost:   $35 COP members / $50 for non-members

Kayak II School Rocky Fork and Paint Creek Rivers in southwest Ohio will be the site for the Whitewater Kayak II School during one weekend in the month of April. Students must have previous experience (i.e. Kayak I School or similar). Knowledge and comfort in executing the basic paddle strokes will be expected. The dates for this class are yet to be confirmed. A separate registration form will published in early 2004.

Upon receipt of your paid registration, a packet of class information and a liability waiver will be sent to you. READ, SIGN, and RETURN the liability waiver prior to your class. Note: refunds will only be given for medical emergencies or if a waiting list person can take your spot.
