I've been a member of COP (and its prior incarnation) since the late 1970's. In 1995 Sandy Jones turned over Winter Activities to me. Since then, I've had great fun and been educated by leading various types of trips.

Have you considered leading a COP activity? I can promise that your trip experiences will be deepened. Contact the COP office about training, and the trip you've always wanted COP to run can become a reality.

Glenn Beachy was just elected by the COP Executive Board, at the Annual Membership meeting in October, as COP's President for 2004.
