Let the Water Move You

With summer behind us, and the long nights and short days of winter ahead, it's time to fight against cabin fever and start working towards next season's adventures.
Have you ever considered the possibility of whitewater kayaking? If paddling gentle class II waters, exploring beautiful canyons accessible only to boaters, or experiencing the adrenaline rush of Class IV wave trains excites you, then Columbus Outdoor Pursuits' 2004 whitewater program has a plan for you.
This season's winter classes offer several chances to learn: the Kayak I classes teach the fundamentals, while the Eskimo Roll classes teach how to right an overturned boat with a simple snap of the hip. Best of all, these classes will be held in an indoor pool facility during the cold winter months.
This year's application offers three different opportunities to take a Kayak I class and a chance to take the Eskimo Roll class. And to better accommodate busy schedules, we are offering classes on weekends or weekdays.
So, if the thought of moving water adventure sounds like fun, you have a fewer excuses for not giving it a chance. See you on the water.
