Share the Road Plates
May Be An Endangered Species!
As of the end of November, only 765 Share the Road plates had been sold. A minimum of 1000 is needed for the state to continue issuing the plate in the future. For a passenger car, the Share the Road license plate is only an additional $15 per year over the standard renewal fee. (The first year there may be a $5 new plate fee & $2 replacement fee.) Proceeds from the sales of these plates help the Ohio Bicycle Federation fund publication of Ohio Bicycling Street Smarts. Share the Road Lapel Pins The Ohio Bicycle Federation has purchased 500 Share the Road lapel pins as a fund raiser for the OBF. These high quality, enameled, custom pins are imprinted into a metal surface. The color is overlaid; each pin is fired at 450° and polished. The pins are $5.00 including shipping and handling.
