Millersport Corn Festival
Ernesto Ride 2006
By Janice (JET) Thomas and Al Moore

What happened to the heat? In the past 10 years the temperature has been in the mid 80's to 90's. Saturday, the temperature was in the mid 50's with misty rain and a 15 mph headwind. We had 17 people brave the rain. There were four people that showed up and left without riding. They missed a good ride. It quit raining a couple of miles into the ride. I even rode in the rain, which I don't do most of the time.

Biking Bob and his friend Patty from Canada rode from Grove City to the ride. We also had 10 people from Logan and 10 people from Granville show up at the corn festival. In all, it turned out to be a good ride. Hope next year there isn't a hurricane in Florida right before the ride.
